SHANGANI
This area is known as Shangani Point, facing Africa Hotel formerly English Club. The Asians used to call it German Furdo, ( Forodhani, Forodha in Kiswahili refers to Customs ), as it was the main port in 1800 with German influence before the britts took over, perhaps you remember all the steps down to the beach.
Background is of course former SJCS, area is taken over by the Dubai tycoon who owns Park Hyatt ( formerly Mambo Msiige, in Kelele square,Mr. Stevens Home/office). A new wall is being built and a marina will be in this area.
